A direction as a single angle from 0° to 360°, measured clockwise from north.

A direction expressed as one clockwise angle from north: due east is 90°, due south is 180°. Computation is easier in azimuths than in quadrant bearings, so EZBounds converts every extracted bearing to an azimuth before running the traverse.
